This is something I already thanked my secret pal in earlier post. I've tried a few patterns with variable rates of success. I gave the only finished piece of jewellery so far to pörrö and I didn't take any pictures. But I guess if you are nice as hell and real cute and make her feel good, there might be a chance for a pic. There isn't much to see about the jewellery though, but it assured me that I enjoy knotting.

Because this post is about knitting content for a first time in a while, I'll post about yarn. There have come to my posession through Sire from Germany. Two balls of Trekking XXL which is just like I imagined it, the grey one (with hint of beige) is becoming socks for DH and the violet is waiting for me. The solid balls are Opal, the violet is waiting The Right Pattern and the red one is giving me thoughts. Yes, red. No, there wasn't any mistake in the store, but I ordered a ball of red and this is how it turned out to be. I'll have to tell you that langankuluttaja has her fingers in this mess though.

Kuvausavustajan takapuoli taustalla. Valmis kaulaliina alpakasta, näin syksyn porteilla. Ohjeen olen tästä lähettänyt Ullaan.
You can see assistant's butt in the background. I finished the alpaca scarf for myself this autumn and I've sent the pattern to a Finnish online knitting magazine.

I think these are the main content of this post. These are my first ever gloves I knitted, and I just love how they turned out. I knit them on 2mm dpns and it took me around one week of lecture knitting time to finish them. I'm currently working on second pair of gloves out of Lanett, which I'll probably write a pattern for.

What else I have forgot to write about? I guess at least what I brought with me from Japan. This is Kanebo knitting yarn, in gorgeous deep purple and since I have 250 grams of it I'm thinking of a large knitted shawl.

To return to the subject of the gloves, this is the yarn I knit them with. It is Silk-Garden (fine) which is to say really thin Silk garden. It is 45% silk, 10% kid mohair and 45% new wool. I think I can't say much more, I got three balls and I have bit more than 1,5 left after the gloves. One ball is 40 grams.

I did get five more balls in this colour though...
