Neulemerkkejä / Stitch markers

Tämä orkidea muutti meille viime viikolla kun hain lisää multaa muille viherkasveillemme. Toivon että se menestyy ja kukkii jatkossakin.

This orchid moved over to our place when I was getting supplies for the other plants. I really hope it will thrive and flower in the future also.

Neulemerkkejä on helppo tehdä, sillä ne ovat pieniä ja yksittäinen merkki valmistuu suhteellisen nopeasti. Niitä on hyvä tehdä illalla koneella, aamulla pari, päivällä jos ei tiedä mitä tekisi ja ihan muuten vaan. Niissä voi myös kokeilla erilaisia helmiyhdistelmiä paljon rohkeammin kuin esimerkiksi kaulakorussa, koska se mikä näyttää pareina hyvältä, voi olla kovin levotonta esimerkiksi kokonaisena koruna. Esimerkiksi kahdeksalla merkillä voi jo testata vähän millainen koru siitä tulisi.

Stitch makers are cool, since they are rather easy to make and you can make a single marker quite fast. I like making the in the evenings when I'm at the computer, maybe in the mornings, in the noon if I don't know what to do and just for the heck of it. They are also excellent for testing new colourpatterns, since what does look good in small amounts, might look bad as a necklace. If you make for example 8 markers, you can try them out almost as an necklace.

Nämä neulemerkit soveltuvat numeroa 6 pienemmille puikoille. Puikko numero 6 menee niistä vielä läpi, mutta merkki ei enää sillä ole rennosti.

These markers are suited for needles smaller than 6mm. Needle of 6mm will go through, but the marker won't sit pretty on it.


Neljä merkkiä, kaksi läpinäkymätöntä sinistä, yksi läpinäkyvä turkoosi ja yksi kirkas sininen.

Set of four markers, two are opaque, one is clear turqoise and one is clear blue.


Kesämarjoja, kuusi mansikkamustikkaa.

Summerberries. Red hearts and blue beads, there is grand total of six of these. 

Neljä taasen isompaa pisaramerkkiä. Varsin pelkistetyt, mutta toimivat silti.

Quite plane big drop beads. They are quite simple, but the will do the job.

Lopuksi vielä kolme kännykorua: vasemmalla sirpalehelmiä kolmessa pätkässä, keskellä sirpalehelmiä + kilppari, oikealla särmikkäitä + kilppari.
